If I tell the police about consent issues in DV case, what will happen to ex?

Long story short I went to NCDV website and they've offered to get an injunction and occupational order out on my ex while we divorce.

This involved logging the DA with the police, which I did yesterday. I discussed all of it except for the sexual abuse part because it doesn't affect the children as it was only aimed at me, and I don't want him to be put on a sex register.

I asked the police officer if me telling what happened would be something they might decide to take up even if I didn't, and they said possibly. So I didn't disclose.

But since then I am not sure. I want to do the right thing but I so much don't want to go to court over this. I find it triggering. And I’ve got enough evidence of other EA stuff to make a case, according to the police.

So my question is, if I believe my ex raped me last year but there's no evidence of this other than admitting it to a marriage therapist when we tried to repair our marriage, would the police insist on taking it further? Would be lose his job? Would he be up on the sex register?

I'm wondering if anyone knows.

Yes they will take it further as I had something similar happen to me.

Do you mind if I ask, were they put I'm on the second offenders register?
