I've just left a relationship that was fraught with DA, left with my infant DC.

I need a good solicitor for some direction about child arrangements etc. and how to proceed as I am really struggling to talk to my ex - it leaves me vulnerable and he uses it as an opportunity for control.

I need to protect my child and want the best possible solicitor I can access, hopefully one who'll take legal aid and/or offer a free consult.

Would love any advice. I don't suppose it matters too much where they're based as so much can be done remotely now?

It does matter where you are. The LAA do not like it when we take clients too far from our geographical area.
