In the last few months I have had to provide photo id for various reasons - new job, conveyancing etc and as I don't have a photo driving licence I have sent a copy of the photo page in my passport. Three out of four times I have been notified it wasn't enough or not valid and then had to go through a series of other checks for my id to be verified.
So today it has happened again and I'm wondering if it's because the passport photo isn't clear enough. Unfortunately the organisations who require the id checks just send the documents off somewhere else and are not told why they have been rejected. Apparently it happens a lot
Has anyone else had his problem? I feel like I want to ask for a new passport. I know it's not that much of a big deal but it holds things up. I'm tempted just to pay for a photo driving licence but am wondering now if I am on some system somewhere with a flag against my name so the new driving licence still wouldn't be good enough!
