House sale proceeds - poss put in two accounts on completion?

Is it possible to transfer money from a house sale into two bank accounts on the day of completion? Has anyone done this?

Yes, just tell Solicitor the details of the bank accounts and the split. We sold FIL’s house recently and got the money in accounts a couple of days after completion after estate agent fees and Solicitor fees were paid.

Yes, there needs to be a lot of verification of the accounts, who holds them, passports, perhaps physical attendance at the lawyer's office to verify identity and bank details etc so get started on all that very early on. It will not be something you can just email a few days before.
