Ex partner and I are mid way through family court proceedings.. Our next hearing is a 3 day listed fact finding hearing where we will both give evidence and be cross examined. There's been mirror allegations of domestic abuse which is why cafcass recommended a fact finding...
Ex has lied.. Lied... And lied... I've been able to evidence all of his lies in my response to his statement.. This is a violent abuser who caused a small child and mother to flee for their lives with intervention from children's services.
My question is, the deadline to respond to each others witness statement has passed by 2 months.. I think he is opting not to respond to mine, I've made some extremely serious allegations of domestic and child abuse that I've substantiated with evidence..
Are there any implications to the fact finding if he chooses not to respond? We were both ordered to file and serve responses so it wasn't optional. He also served his witness statement 6 weeks past the first deadline.
