Is it possible to find out if someone has been banned from driving?

Long story short, ex used to drive everywhere, 'bus wanker' mentality ré public transport plus absolute paranoia about pickpockets on the tube. Now all of a sudden he's refusing to collect the kids for contact, and has just spent £500 on train tickets for days out whilst they were staying. Also apparently catches bus to work.

Any ideas?

Sounds like he could have been, but you can't see another drivers record without their permission.

You could potentially trawl through court records to see if something comes up, but really why do you need to know? It is none of your concern and it is up to him to work out how to pick up his kids.
