Ex won’t sign paperwork for transfer of property

I have been battling to get the final paperwork signed to transfer our joint mortgage into my sole name. My ex has signed a separation agreement agreeing to transfer the property into my sole name, and I will take all debts (loans, mortgage etc)

I have been accepted for a sole mortgage, but to get the final papers signed is nothing but a battle. My solictor and myself have tried numerous times and often get him in agreement and then when it comes to signing ends up just ignoring letters, calls etc. He has contributed no mortgage payments nor loan payments (matrimonial debt) since we separated over a year ago.

I have already paid numerous solicitors, who seem like they can’t be bothered to deal with the situation and can’t go round and round in circles for much longer.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (Scotland based)

Not sure about Scottish Law but in England you can apply to the Court for an order that he signs the transfer as per his agreement if the Consent Order has been sealed by the Court. If he refuses a Judge can sign for him. Your Solicitor should be able to advise you on the next steps.
