Hi there,
I am scheduled to a FDHRA (first hearing) in June with my ex about child arrangements. He currently sees our child (20 months) for two full days a week already, but wants overnights to start immediately. I have said no at this point in time (although made it clear i am open to it when she is older).
I am very nervous, as it history of domestic abuse during the relationship and i know how unstable he can get. I wouldn't feel comfortable him having our baby girl overnight until she is older, and she is emotionally ready. Our baby girls isn't yet sleeping through the night.
I have two questions:
a) Remote hearing. How are these happening, when you have got a baby/toddler to care for at the same time?
b) Overnights. What does the court take into account? What are other peoples experiences etc.? What are the chances of this been ordered in the first hearing? (esp after i have raised issues for domestic abuse)?
Despite already seeing our baby girl, he is accusing me of alienating him from his child. Its crazy. I do have genuine concerns, and want to be taken seriously. Any advice welcome!
