I am wondering if anyone can help me regarding this I have had bail conditions put out against my ex partner and he broke bail the first day he was out of court and I contacted the police and one month later I have had police turn up at the door to ask if he has broke bail conditions why would they do that? As I wasn’t aware they would be doing that

Hi, @Lsm2 - we're just bobbing on here to say that we've moved your thread over to our 'Legal Matters' topic. We hope you get some advice and support here. Flowers

I don't understand why you're asking. Their response may have been slow, but doesn't this indicate they are investigating the alleged breach of bail? What else should they have done (besides dealing with it sooner)?

Nicknacky · 09/01/2020 18:47

Probably just a routine check to make sure he hasn’t breached them again. I was working in a domestic abuse unit a few years ago and we would contact victims to make sure everything was ok.

@collaborate it had already been dealt with therefore I was unsure if it was just routine for them to come back out just to ask if he had broken the conditions again I was unsure as I’ve never been in this situation before
@Nicknacky thank you for your help I did think this would have been the case but I just was looking for some advice
