Land registry address doesn't match address allocated by Royal Mail

Currently building a house, and the council have allocated our address with one postcode eg LP11 3ZZ which gives us one village name. But the name we registered with the land registry uses the postcode and village name of our current house which is Next door to the house we are building so we presumed it would use the same variant of postcode eg LP11 3ZX. The last letter of postcode changes the village name. (Both villages are same location just one postcode gives one variation of it and the other postcode gives the other)
The house name and town are still the same.eg

My house
Little village
Correct Town
LP11 3ZZ

My house
Big village
Correct Town
lLP11 3ZX

My question is, our title deeds state 1 address, yet the Royal Mail will activate the other address.

Do the deeds need to match exactly to the post office file address? Mainly asking for remortgaging, as never had to borrow money so far.

Call land registry, it won't be the first time

You should sort this out, but it shouldn’t be difficult.

The Council allocates the official address, notifies Royal Mail, who then allocate a post code. The Council will then notify you, the Land Registry and other services of the official address, so I am not sure how you have managed to register an address with the Land Registry.

I suggest that you speak to your Council’s Street Naming and Numbering Officer.
