Hi at a child contact hearing last year my ex did not turn up and judgement was found in his absence. 6 months later he appealed claiming he was too Ill for court and then to file an appeal in time. I went to the court for advice and they told me I did not need to attend or provide any evidence as it was between him and the court. On the day the court rang to ask why i wasn't there!!! It has been adjourned and he has to provide evidence by a set date for to be sent onto me prior to the case but says nothing in the court paperwork of what I need to provide or a date to provide it by. Does anyone know the protocol for this sort of hearing? I am unable to afford legal cou self this time around as all money and more went on dealing with the case for the last 2 years and there is nothing left. Thanks
