So I'm looking at instructions a solicitor for a divorce and organising finances with two children. I'm going to call around but what questions should I be asking? How much per hour is the "usual" fee?
Thank you in advance

There is no usual fee. Hourly rates can vary by a large margin. The most expensive isn't necessarily the best (perhaps you're paying for expensively rented offices) and the cheapest not necessarily the worst.

If you say where in the country you are perhaps some posters may be able to make some recommendations.
