Going to court for car insurance claim

Hi
I'm due to go to court at the end of July due to a car insurance claim.

A taxi driver drove into my parked car in my works car park & drove off. I have an independent witness who came in and told security who checked CCTV and then located me.

The CCTV isn't the greatest but there is no doubt in the registration plate. Taxi driver just keeps saying it wasn't him.

It's starting to un-nerve me a bit, wondering how the taxi driver thinks he has a possible chance of getting out of this or would this get laughed out of court?

He thinks you will bottle it-and you are starting to doubt yourself. Go, you weren’t even driving, you have a witness. He may say it wasn’t him driving but unless his cab was reported stolen, he’s chancing his arm.

You're right, I am definitely going but could just do without it, especially as I have no cover at work that day & I will need to go in on my day off if we don't get in until later on in the day, then having to sort out childcare for the school holidays Hmm

Bloody cockwomble
