Correcting an error on register of title at land registry.

Advice please.
DH and I have just done a voluntary first registration of our house, via a Solicitor who we never actually met.
Today, we received an official copy of the register of title and there is an error on it.

It states that the land our house is built on is subject to a yearly rentcharge of X amount .

In actual fact, we have a redemption certificate showing that in 1992 we paid a one off fee to the local
council so that the yearly rentcharge is no longer required since 1992.

For some reason best known only to him, DH didn't include this paperwork in the bunch of historical documents we handed over to the Solicitor.

How do we get this rectified, preferably cheaply?!

Apply to the Land Registry using Form AP1 - you could do it yourself - guides are here www.gov.uk/government/publications/change-the-register-ap1

However you’d still need a solicitor to sign a form confirming your identity.

Honestly I’d just contact your solicitor with a copy of the deed and ask them to amend the register, it should be a quick easy job for them as they already have a file open for you, won’t cost much.
