Do you have to pay stamp duty if you buy our sibling half of property inherited?

Thinking of buying out sibling from home inherited from parents. Do we pay stamp duty on this part?

Or would we pay stamp duty on the whole value of the property?

The aim is for it to be for our 4 kids to live in thru uni and then we would sell to release a deposit for each of them. Can we set it up as some sort of trust for them?
