Anyone have experience of medical negligence claim caused by laser?

I had laser hair removal and have suffered a burn which I am very upset about as I followed all advice given by the clinic. I chose a reputable clinic, registered by the CQC to avoid exactly this scenario!
I am wondering if I have any hope of claiming negligence but don’t know where to begin. I’m not sure all the “had an accident or injury that wasn’t your fault?” Lawyers are the way to go. Or are they? Any advice would be appreciated.

It wasn’t a medical treatment so how can it be medical negligence?

It wouldn’t be medical negligence but you can take a personal injury claim most likely. Consult a solicitors with a good civil department you don’t need to go down the road of the ones on the telly :)
