Which birth certificate to send for baby passport???

I have two birth certificates in front of me: one where her dad, myself and the deputy signed with ink and one where our 'signatures' are in print (ie J. Bloggs), except for the bottom one by the deputy which is in ink both times. Which one do I need to send off with the passport application?

I remember the deputy lady telling us that one certificate is just for us but I don't remember which one that was...

Thanks!

You need the long one with details of the parents

The long version where everything is detailed

Both of them have all the information of the parents, the only difference is the three signatures (parents and deputy)? Once they're printed and once they're handwritten. The second signature of the depute at the bottom is handwritten on both of them.

If you were to go and get a replacement they give you a copy of the printed one,
so I treat the handwritten one as the ‘original’ for you to keep and the printed is the one you is for use (as it is easily replaceable if it were to get lost)

That’s how I treat them anyway.
