Threats of being taken to court harassment?...

Hello, I hope someone can give me some info please Smile

If someone keeps threatening to take me to court and constantly emailing me (3-4 times daily) saying his solicitor had told him they're taking me to court (I've had no correspondence of this and can guarantee its lies) is this classed as harassment? He's given me his solicitors name but I also know she is a trainee and the girlfriend of one of his friends that he occasionally goes drinking all night with.
I've replied saying I'll await the correspondence but he's saying this solicitor has told him to keep messaging me and meet with me? Surly that's not supposed to happen?

Thank you

I would contact the solicitors firm, not the trainee woman, and ask if there is a case relating to you.

Just one reply asking him not to contact you again and that you'll await correspondence from a process server. And that if he continues to contact you, you will seek advice about harrassment.

That's exactly what I thought. It's not even anything serious so can't imagine it would even go to court.
I think I'll contact the firm also, that way she will find out he's throwing her name about.

Thank you
