Other party not declaring a witness document - how do we get to see it?

Hi

In dispute with our neighbour; who has upset one of his own witnesses who off the record has divulged he has written a report supporting our case (so support his clients view point).

However neighbour has not divulged this information/report and is stating that the witness has not completed a report - how can we legally get our hands on it without dropping the witness in it that he has written it?

Our solicitor can't think of a way.

Many thanks

you can't. No one has property in a witness. they can become your witness instead if they're willing.
