Liability on sale of house

Zouzounike · 04/06/2018 20:30

Completed on sale of house 2 months ago after buyer stated they didn't want survey. There was burn to worktop next to sink which was there before their 2 viewings and wasn't mentioned. Have now received solicitors letter stating we are liable for cost of replacing the worktop and repair to heating system which was working before we left .. am I liable for this cost?

Agree with above posters. They'll be asking you to come back and mow the lawn next

Jokers!

What solicitor wrote this letter? I'd report them to the regulator (the Solicitors Regulation Authority).
