I have had to apply for a PSO as my ex is planning to take my 13yr old son to move to Cornwall. My son currently lives with me. My son has ADHD and this would be detrimental to his condition. My son loves his Dad and has regular access which I am happy to continue. My son is confused about what he wants to do and I am angry with my ex for putting him in this position. There is a hearing in two days. My ex is planning to take my son to the hearing as he will be staying with him. I am so confused and sick with panic that the judge may rule against me if my son says he wants to go. Also will CAFCASS get involved? Any advice appreciated. TIA

CAFFCASS will still do their checks and submit a report to the court. I am just glad that it was taken seriously and showed my ex that he cannot have his own way. He didn't take it seriously at all! Just kept sniggering while I was talking in court!! So rude and disrespectful! Angry

Well sniggering in front of the judge won't go down well. Sounds like an idiot. It's stressful going through this but it's a long process so take care of yourself.

Be v organised and write down bullet points for when you speak to cafcass. Keep it child focused and not all about your ex. You will be OK.

I have written down everything and have a phone appt with CAFCASS in just over a week. I feel very positive and know I am doing the best thing for my son.
Thankyou to everyone who has commented and given advice. It has really helped. Flowers
