I own a leasehold flat in a block of 5, with a managing agent and freeholder. the repairs/refurb of the building are way overdue(since 2011)and there are roof leaks needing urgent attention. finally 4 out of 5 flats have paid but one wont, they have had solicitors letters and got a solicitor to write back saying they cant afford it and its too short notice(!).they live abroad and own multiple properties. we are being advised not to take this to tribunal due to the costs involved that we may not recoup. none of us knows where to go from here, any advice welcomed!
