One of DH's relatives sadly hasn't got much longer to go. Our understanding is he's on of the two beneficiaries under her will.
We don't live in the UK and do he'll be travelling back for the funeral. Is there anything ye can bring with him to make the executors lives easier? I'm thinking whether he'll need to prove identity or something. I'm aware it will take months to sort everything but it's not a simple matter to get documents from here to the UK.
This sounds mercenary, obviously in both he and I would rather have the relative alive but we're being realistic - she's end stage cancer in a hospice. The executors are lovely people and there's very little we can do to actually help being so far away (plus leave issues) so we're trying to work out if there's any way of making things easier for them.
