child contact order and the family court

Hi my ex took me to the family court last year, and the kids were 18 15 and 9. (They are now 19 15 and 10.).
He ended up with no contact with oldest one and indirect contact of sending cards 3 times a year with youngest two. Since the final court date in October we have heard nothing from him.
It was a very traumatic experience for us all.
The 15 year old will be 16 in October, and all I can find on google is that contact orders usually expire when they turn 16.
(residence part of it at 18). will the court send me a new order with her name taken off it?. Or would I have to apply to the court for that when she turns 16?. If that is the case I will just leave it as I do not want to or can afford to do that again. Has anyone else had their children turn 16 and receive a new court order at all?.
Thank you for any help or advice on this.

You don't have to apply to the court and they won't send you a new order. Unless it says otherwise in the order it will automatically cease to apply to your daughter when she reaches 16.

You need do nothing. The order states their dates of birth. It will simply not apply to the 16 year old and won't be amended.
