In court next week...what the hell do I wear?

I've never been in a court so I have no clue to this at all. Don't want to ask my solicitor as it'll cost me £25 to do that!

Is black too formal? I don't have a suit or even work/smart trousers. I'm at a loss. Does it even matter?

It's the first hearing for divorce if that helps.

God yes. Take water and snacks. Some courts are a more hostile environment to living things than the bloody Sahara.
