Family court, can partner come in with me?

my ex h is taking me to court for residency of our child. It's a long and complicated situation.

My partner and I have been together for 4 years and have a child together.

Will my partner be able to come into the court room with me?

No, because it's not seen as having much to do with your partner it's just about the parents. Your partner won't affect how much your ex should see their child.

Well, he can come in, if the judge agrees. But that is highly unlikely.

Are you represented? If not, do you have a more neutral friend who could come along and support you in court?
