Abusive ex partner contacting my landlord/management

My ex partner and biological father to my child has been contacting my landlord/apartment management and asking for information about me. The landlord/apartment management has given him info on my whereabouts and comings and goings. I found out as an idiot "friend" of his unwittingly informed me (this was in a pub and he wasn't exactly sober).

What the hell should I do? I'm seeking legal advice also but doesn't this come under data protection?? I'm not savvy when it comes to legal terms, I'm afraid.

I'm still in shock that the apartment management would act in such an incredibly unprofessional manner. His bs however doesn't surprise me, he is harassing and stalking me through every means.

Advise is very appreciated

Extremely unprofessional and it does sound like a data protection breach. The Information Commissioner's Office have a helpline 0303 123 1113. They should be able to advise you.

How scary!! I would assume this is a data protection breech and that the building manager is breaking the law. I imagine this doesn't make you feel very safe, hope this is sorted soon op.

Neverknowing- Thanks so much.
It's honestly like living in a horror movie at times, it's been going on for years.
