How do I cope with losing a medical negligence claim when I know the staff treating me didn't tell the truth

I have been through a lengthy medical negligence claim. I lost. I know that at least two high profile medical staff who treated me did not tell the truth about what happened. The hospital's documentation was erratic and I have not written proof of certain aspects of the case. I lost the case because there was not enough documentation that substantiated what I claimed in the hospital's records, because there were people who lied and because the medical experts could not fully support my claim because of the lack of documented evidence.
I am so angry about it. I know what happened and what I said happened is true and I am angry that lying and lack of good documentation got the trust out of it. I have raised my concerns with my lawyer but I now have to accept the verdict. It is very difficult. Has anybody been in a similar position and can offer advice or agencies etc where I can get support?

Civil cases in this country are decided on the balance of probabilities. In cases which yours appears to have ended up as where it is one word against the other's (in this case the medics) the judge will decide whether there is enough evidence to support your case. You have started another thread which suggests the medical expert appointed did not support your case and this would obviously carry a lot of weight as they were appointed as an expert in the matter.

It is unfortunate that you have not found the closure that you sought but it may just be time to try to put it behind you and look forward to what you will be doing next in life.

Thanks Allthebestnamesareused. I find it very hard to put it behind me. I could have died as a result of the negligence (the opportunity to diagnose cancer was missed despite my ongoing concerns). I do not want to go into too much detail. It is not even the negligence that was most soul destroying it was the lying and cover ups. I have said to myself that I acted with integrity and honesty throughout the case and I do not need to live with a guilty conscience but that is not always enough to stop me feeling angry and disappointed in the people I trusted.

After a situation involving nhs lying to us to cover each other I've realised when you complain to the nhs you are really asking them to investigate themselves.
Unless the claim.is v clear cut there is no point.
For me it was time that helped. I realised it was changing game as a person and I had to let that stop
