Why is this police officer still allowed to work (groomed my DD)?

Hi,

I know this topic isn't very busy, but just 1 bit of advice would be lovely.

My daughter is 12 and there was a situation which involved my brother's colleague. They both work in the police. It was obvious grooming behaviour which my brother took to his superior. The top officer for their department has approved him to work but only if he is supervised.

Why on earth is this allowed?

Was he convicted?

flossietoot · 04/02/2017 19:14

Probably not enough evidence to do anything. I have heard of this before in the police. Really sad.

mainlywingingit · 04/02/2017 19:17

Surely a House raid would be In order and the evidence will probably be there.

This sounds horrible for you. Was it just groomed flirty words or more?

mainlywingingit · 04/02/2017 19:18

I don't mean 'just groomed
Flirty words ' like it means nothing by the way!

Did you make an official complaint about this man and follow the correct process or did your brother "have a quiet word in work". Police officers have been known to close ranks!!!
Are you sure your brother has told you / work everything?
If you have evidence of the grooming you should make an official complaint.
