Father's Estate left "in trust" for Children. Mother's Will omits one child.

When DF died, his will left his estate "in trust" for his four DC. DM remained in house with access to pensions etc. Quite straightforward. DM has now apparently made a will leaving everything to three of the four DC, effectively cutting out the fourth DC. Am I correct in thinking that this will only apply to her share of the estate and that DC4 will still be entitled to a quarter share of what his father left?

I don't know I hope so. How cruel to cut one out.

Afaik, the trust would still stand, she can only will what is hers. (Had similar family issue).

Yes, that's correct.

Yep, the property in trust isn't hers to leave.
