Jersey charity law - trustee misconduct in report of paedophile at overseas site

Apparently this is Jersey's charity law, www.jerseylaw.je/Law/Display.aspx?url=%2Flaw%2FLawsInForce%2Fhtm%2Flawfiles%2F2014%2FL-41-2014.pdf but some of it may not be in force .

Is there something that can be done, under Jersey law, in terms of the following scenario:

1. Jersey registered Charity runs a preschool, in developing world.
2. Jersey charity's trustee receives a report that a teacher at the school is a paedophile, with description of five sexual assaults by the teacher.
3. Trustee responds that it was 'an accident', and the teacher can stay in place.

I am concerned that this charity, which is essentially the work of a single trustee, should not be operating, as the trustee's judgement in this matter (and more generally, in regards to choosing staff), is grossly lacking.

Is there action that can be taken to get the charity closed down?

I have no idea, but it sounds horrific, hopefully someone knowledgeable will be along in a minute.
