Hi, my daughter has contact with her dad tomorrow and as it stand she is too ill to go. She's not herself she's been sick and diorea, also a slight temperature. It's the last one at the contact centre before it goes into the community in a few weeks. Personally I don't think unless she significantly improves by tomorrow I would be happy to send her. My question is would I just ring them and tell them she's too ill or would they need proof. And do you think they would rearrange for the day after or a few days after to compensate. I am worried as my ex doesn't seem to realise that children do get poorly. Thanks.

I don't know the legal side of things, but I'd be getting your DD in to the GP as soon as possible and getting a medical certificate stating she is too ill to attend. That way you are protecting yourself if he tries to claim you are being obstructive.
