A friend of mine was recently involved in a collision. It turns out the driver of the other vehicle (an elderly lady) had only one arm (no left arm so can't change gears/ use the dials on the left hand side) and was driving on the road in a newly modified car. She had never driven this car before with the adaptations and was out on the street practicing. She was driving very erratically and caused a crash.
My question is, why wasn't this woman made to sit a test again? Or at least made to have driving lessons again? Or at the very least made to use L plates on her car.
