My mum is currently in the process of buying her council house.
She has a will currently (I am executor but it also names my late father :()
My questions are;
Does she need another named executor?
Does she need to specify the house in the will or is it just oart of her "estate"?
Does she need a new will at all?
Thanks.

not as far as I understand it - only marriage invalidates a will. BUT it is always best to have two executors - you have two for just the sad reason that you identify. If (hope not) something happens to you then there is a problem.
