Free Childcare and insurance in own home

A member of my family collects my children from school 3 afternoons a week, and looks after them at my house (2 days) / at family member's house (1 day), until I get there at 5.30pm. They do this free of charge.

My family member now wants to collect another child on an ad hoc basis to help her mother out (big family issues). Am not sure whether there is an issue with insurance - what if this child hurts themselves at my house and I'm not even there? I guess its no different to an after school play date as there is no money involved, but would I be better to say, not in my house?

You may be better reposting this in nannies and childminders actually. The way you describe it sounds to me that you will be better in your own house but I am no expert. Good luck.
