Any family lawyers out there who can help with Court of Protection issue?

Bare bones - my grandfather has Alzheimer's and several years ago appointed my parents as powers of attorney. They didn't activate this until the middle of last year when they applied to the court to have the PoA registered.
My uncle has opposed the registration and after much stress and legal wranglings, there is now a court date set when the judge will decide what happens. My uncle wants the PoA to be rejected and him and my DM to be appointed jointly to look after my grandad's estate.
I provided a witness statement as part of the evidence my parents had to give to the courts in response to (completely unfounded) allegations by my uncle. I now want to attend court on the day of the hearing to support my parents.
I have to fill out a COP10 form to join as party to proceedings, but have to state whether I am opposed to the application or not. I'm a bit confused if "the application" is a) my parents' application to register the PoA or b) my uncle's application to have the PoA rejected, and I have to get it right on the form or there will be trouble!
So can anybody help? I know it's a long shot but I've never yet failed to have a question answered on MN so really hope that someone is out there!
TIA

You can tell whose application it is from the court docs; whoever is named as Applicant is the one making the application.

If you don't have any court docs and are still in doubt, though, call the court, they're v helpful.

Thanks! I don't have the documents but can check with my parents tonight.
