Mortgage after separation - can bank make me sell?

Have just separated from DH. I can afford the bills (just) on my salary and with the contribution from him should be fine. Both of us want me to stay in the house with the DCs.
Could the mortgage company insist I sell if they don't think I can manage the mortgage alone?

No. You can transfer the property into your sole name, however if the lender isn'tconfident that you can pay the debt alone, they won't release your husband from the mortgage deed/ account
This is a common situation, normally dealt with by an indemnity clause in your consent order.
Sorry on iphone but your solicitor will fill you in on the details
