Is this the type of parking ticket you don't have to pay?

Today I got a Britannia parking fine for overstaying the time in the Waitrose carpark in Ringwood. I have read before that there are certain types of ticket that are not enforceable? Does anyone know if this is one of them please?

if it isn't a council one just ignore it

NettoSuperstar · 07/11/2013 18:55

Fairly sure that's ignorable.

Not enforceable unless they take you to court. If you ignore them they will probably give up without taking you to court.

Current advice isn't to completely ignore. Google pepipoo and read what their advice is.

\link{http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=4730172\have a look at this}

were you actually in Waitrose all the time? Was the car park full?

Current advice depends on where you look. Many believe that appealing the ticket gives it legitimacy it doesn't deserve. It is still the case that the company that issued the "fine" will generally give up if you ignore them.
