There was a hearing at the Old Bailey on Monday...

Is there a way I can get a transcript or details of what was said?

It was an initial hearing - they're returning to enter pleas in early December, will there be much detail at this stage? I know the headline of what they're accused of, I'd like to know the detail of what they're actually supposed to have done iyswim.

I lost my job as a result of their (alleged) fraud I wasn't implicated at all but the company lost so much money loads of jobs went. I'd really like to know what went on and how they got away with it for so long.

I know they're not technically guilty yet, but it's hard to see it that way from my position!

Can you attend in person? I'm not sure if transcripts would be available, but I imagine they'd cost a fair bit.

Ooh now, that is a good idea, I don't know, is that possible?

I reckon I could get a gang group of wronged ex-colleagues together and we could have a fun day out! Realistically though complex fraud cases last ages though, don't they?

I think I know enough people who would be interested that we could split any cost, but I don't know how to go about it or even if it's possible.

AFAIK, and I'm no expert, all court cases apart from Family Law (residency/contact disputes) are open to the public, it's to do with "justice being seen to be done." Yes, I'd expect a complex fraud case to take some time, could you and your former colleagues work a rota for attendance?

I don't know OldLady I will talk to some of them. What I'd really like is full written details, so I can digest it all properly afterwards.

That sounds really bitter and I am a bit (although life has moved on and leaving was a great move for me in the end) Mostly I'd like to understand it all. I worked very closely with one of the men for about 5 years and I would have sworn he was straight - there were plenty of opportunities not to be where we worked, but I always really thought he was one of the good guys (he was when we worked together afaik) I'd love to bump into him in the street and ask him what went wrong.

That his partner in crime was bent comes as no surprise at all, but I am completely shocked that this man was involved. (my "friend" was by far he most senior so I don't think duress can have been involved)
