So do you plan to take these forever?

You use them for your degree, get a 1st, get a job and as soon as the company finds out your on drugs or are not performing you get managed out. You may not even get through a company medical to get a job.

This is a ridiculous thing to even consider. Congrats on starting on the slippery slope to drug dependency. How about just working hard and getting enough sleep

Getting it from "Bob" would be as dodgy as fuck.

Motherfuckers · 23/08/2016 03:09

OP, if you "need all the help you can get" to get your degree, maybe you are doing the wrong course, or are at the wrong college, or maybe you are just not university material? Most people don't rely on drugs to finish their courses successfully, maybe you should rethink your plans.

WatcherOfTheNight · 23/08/2016 03:16

Op has probably completed her degree by now

erinaceus · 23/08/2016 03:22

To do better in my degree.

When I was in a similar situation to you, a retired Professor whom I trusted advised me to lower my expectations of myself. I am glad I took his advice, which worked out well for me. I would suggest that you do the same.

Motherfuckers · 23/08/2016 03:28

Fucking zombie thread!! OP probably failed her degree by now!

You can still buy it overseas. I take Modalert from Neomodafinil. There is no problems with customs regulators if you buy 1-2 or maximum 3 month supply. Modafinil legal status is still unconfirmed. Will see what would be after-brexit laws in the "drug' area

aginghippy · 13/06/2017 10:19

Modafinil legal status is still unconfirmed.

That is not true. The legal status is completely clear, modafinil is a prescription-only medicine in the UK.

MHRA highlight the pitfalls of buying medicines online to students

PersianCatLady · 14/06/2017 16:08

The Medicines Act 1968 is the statute that states that POM drugs can only be prescribed by certain medical professionals -
www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/67

Here is the MHRA license for the UK that states that modafinil is a POM drug -
www.mhra.gov.uk/home/groups/par/documents/websiteresources/con215016.pdf

PersianCatLady · 14/06/2017 16:11

It’s ok to buy it before the Psychoactive Substances Bill comes into place in the UK
Sorry but this is wrong.

As modafinil is a medicine, it is not covered by the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016, it is regulated under the Medicines Act 1968 (as amended).

You want a first from a top uni in the U.K., but you are incapable of finding out this easily googlable and verifiable information on your own when you have access to the internet?

I think you need to order many more drugs.
