Faulty dishwasher was supposed to be recalled in March....

But DH was dying in hospital at that time & I didn't see the re-call warnings on tv or in the papers.

So I only found out my dishwasher was dangerous when it stopped working last Friday and I was googling Bosch dishwashers.

Bosch are sending out a repairman today to replace the faulty part, which is good. But I want to know where I stand if the dishwasher still doesn't work after the part's been replaced. Am I entitled to a replacement machine for instance?

Thanks in advance for your advice Smile

Of course I've got a time slot for repairman of between 8.00am and 6.00pm....

If the failure is due to a manufacturing or design fault and the dishwasher hasn't lasted as long as you would reasonably expect you may be entitled to a repair or replacement. If the failure is normal wear and tear you are not entitled to anything. The fact there has been a recall is irrelevant unless the failure is directly related to the recall.
