Cohabiting and principle place of residence definition

Please can anyone define these in terms legally. We are in a bit of a situation where a house was left to my husband from his late father but he changed his will the day before his death allowing his second wife to live there except for three conditions:1 she remarries 2 she cohabits for three months or more 3 she must use the house as her principle place of residence.

This woman has two homes already and was living in one of them in the week, just staying the odd weekend at said house with late fil.

So, she has stayed four nights since aug when entertaining friends but now lives with her boyfriend (dating him within 4 months of fil death :-( ) at his and her house.

We are gathering CCTV evidence and have solicitors involved but just wondered what the definitions were and whether anyone else had experienced this sort of thing before.

Sorry turned into an essay
