Can my husband claim working tax credits?

I'm currently leaving in London, just finished maternity leave and we'll be moving to Devon soon so I don't have to work and be a stay at home mum.
What is working tax credits? And can my husband claim it if I'm not working?

Working Tax Credit aims to top up working peoples income to a certain level. Anyone can claim you just might find that you are not entitled depending on your income and family circumstances.

Ring Citizens Advice or Welfare Rights, to find out what your eligibility is. The rules are all changing with the introduction of Universal Credit. I've thankfully left the benefit world but from what I hear confusion abounds as to what is going to happen as the changes are phased in. Those confused unfortunately includes those who are responsible for ensuring everyone understands the changes!
