Hi, received contract just before started new job. although no agreed pay was agreed during interview, i was happy with first contract and signed it. However, there was a mistake with the number of hours(just by one hour). So a second one was sent to me. same pay, just one hour per week more...although sent by recorded delivery, got an other contract, a couple of weeks later with post it on it, saying:could u please sign this third contract as second one was not received? so i did, straight away, expecting it to be a duplicate...i was shocked when received my pay sleep a few weeks later so when came back to my third contract, realised the one thousand pounds a year difference between the first and third contract...but according to hr and manager, the third one is correct...what are my rights? how do i respond to that? Please, need ur advice, I am gutted!!

Did you keep the duplicate of the second contract? They're supposed to give you two copies, one to keep, one to return.

If you have kept the 2nd contract, that is the one which applies imo. Well, it applies anyway, but easier to prove your point if you've kept their signed copy.

the problem is that i signed all of them...where do i stand legally?
