Got a speeding ticket. Have worked out dh was driving but he doesn't use that road on his way to work...

And is adamant he didn't that day. The ticket is for 35/30 zone on a road that runs across/under the road he would have been on going 60mph.
There is the option of speed awareness rather than 3points so he would take that instead. We are just confused over how it would have happened. He is also convinced he was in work at 2:15 and the ticket was 2:11 about 20 mins away.

I assume it's not worth challenging but is there a chance to see the picture without court?

Ivevseem thousands of these photos. Not all are clear. Plus the money you can waste on "principle " of going not guilty is hundreds. With no guarantee of proving innocent.

Afaicr the burden of proof is on you to show it wasn't you.

Enragia she has now admitted that it was legitimate, but at first she didnt think so... are you saying she should just admit to something she didnt do because its cheaper to take a false guilty than protest your innocence?

I had this happen too.
I was definitely at work but got a ticket. I called the police station and they were happy to accept proof from my place of work that I couldn't have been driving the car then. Guy on the phone was lovely and said they'd had a spate of number plate clones.
Was quite a long time ago though so don't know if things have changed. You're best off calling them and asking.
