Can we claim any compensation for pain/suffering and general inconvenience?

Our insurance company's builders were so bad that when they refitted our house after a flood, all the works are having to be redone, less than 3 years later, AND we're being messed about.

Here's a thread about just one aspect.

Any thoughts?

The general rule is you can only claim if you have suffered a loss or pain/injury. I'm a property lawyer, not a litigator, so someone else might have more specialist I of.

Info, not I of.

You're going to struggle frankly. What injury have you suffered as a result of their lack of care/skill? Inconvenience is not an injury.
