la senza gift cards? Any claim to get money back now they are in administration?

I got £35 in La Senza vouchers for christmas. Shall I keep hold if them or throw? Nottingham store trading today but not accepting vouchers as payment.

Help!

The La Senza shops were sold to a different company who are under no obligation to honour vouchers (or returns, even of faulty goods).

You can write to the address here with details of your claim, one day you may get a tiny payout.

Sorry, I missed the title of the post. If they were in administration the situation would be different, but they are in liquidation since the 9th January.

Grrr. bah humbug

I had 200 gbp worth of gift cards for habitat. After a letter and several phone calls (plus an offer of something) I have received bugger all.

People who have ordered goods (inc gift vouchers) and paid up front in cases of company liquidation come right at the bottom of the pile when the administrator liquidises the assets of the company and the companie's debts are paid off .

Weird logic that too isn't it! Really people with gift cards have committed to buying goods, they just haven't decided which ones yet. So really they should get their goods first, (I bet having stock isn't a problem!), before paying others.?

Oh well. Thanks though guys. I will not be buying gift vouchers any more, nor asking for them for birthdays etc!
