Had a 'big' purse clear out and have stupidly thrown away the 'paper' part of my driving license, but I still have the photo id part. Do I have to apply for the paper part or am I ok with just the photo card?? wot a Wally!

I did this recently. It's not a full license without the paper part - there is info on that that is not on the plastic part. If you are stopped by the Police and asked to produce your licence, you have to produce both parts. I think paper alone might be ok, but not plastic alone. You can do it on Direct Gov, costs £20 and arrives very quickly.
