My mums finally sold her house and is buying another. How much will she have to pay roughly.

Mine charged £450 each for sale and then purchase, plus bits and pieces which made it up to 1k altogether. She did give me a slight discount though I think. Stamp duty is on top rates here

OP is that including stamp duty?

Ours was about £6-800 excluding stamp duty.

We used Simpson Millar when we bought our house. They do everything via email and over the phone and were pretty good, and cheap.

Thankyou for your replies. I've looked at Simpson Millar. They are a few hundred pounds cheaper according to the online quote, so if they provide a good service they look like they could be the ones. Thanks.
