Avoiding nursing care costs...fwd planning..?

is there anything that you can do legally to off load you assets ahead of time in order to avoid nursing home costs,,,?

Why do you think that the rest of us should pay your nursing home costs when you have assets?

You can spend it all, but putting it in trust for the kids or even gifting it to them doesn't work.

Some companies offer Plans for long -time nursing care. Not cheap, but may be a good idea, depending on your circumstances. Giving stuff away can be a mine-field legally.
